HISTORY

Launched in 2014 to create a signature holiday experience of lights and activities connecting KC’s downtown neighborhoods that draws Kansas City residents and out-of-town visitors from across the region to explore downtown Kansas City’s unique shops, restaurants, nightlife venues, and vibrant urban living environment.

Downtown Dazzle uses the boundaries set in the Greater Downtown Area plan.

The Greater Downtown Area boundary includes 14 diverse neighborhoods in Kansas City, Missouri on both sides of the Missouri River from 31st Street on the south, North Kansas City on the north, State Line on the west, and Woodland Avenue on the east.
